The new of the day... of the month... OF THE YEAR !
Aujourd'hui, nous vous offrons une petite leçon d'anglais, bonne lecture et rendez-vous à la fin du paragraphe pour quelques explications ou pour un résumé (pour les plus paresseux):
It’s been six long years since k’s Choice played their last concert at the “2 days a week Festival” in Wiesen, Austria. That’s when Sarah & Gert decided to take a break from the band to focus on their solo careers. Since then, Sarah has released three successful solo albums and Gert has continued to prove he’s an outstanding songsmith with his new band Woodface.
Now the respected solo artists are shifting their attention back to k’s Choice. Sarah and Gert have begun to write songs for a new k’s Choice album, which should see the light of day early 2010.
As the first songs were taking shape, an offer came in to headline the 35th edition of Dranouter, one of Belgium’s biggest summer festivals. Brother and sister saw an excellent opportunity to reunite the band and to tighten the musical bond between the band members before going into the studio later this year.
The rest is history… k’s Choice is back and will be headlining Dranouter on Friday the 7th of August 2009 !!!
Bon, en clair : K'S CHOICE EST DE RETOUR !!! Quelques chansons sont déjà prêtes et l'album devrait voir le jour début 2010. En attendant et afin de se refaire une petite santé avant de passer en studio, ils donneront un petit concert en Belgique le 7 août. Va falloir trouver une baby-sitter pour l'année prochaine car nous serons forcément de la tournée !!
